Question:
For coastal area is it best to go with this version - assume 53A/S means coated or galvanised steel - or 53/N which I assume means nickle coated steel?

The 53A/S is made using a steel wheel and the 53A/N is made using a nylon wheel. For a coastal application, we would recommend using our Stainless Steel system and components - please see link to the product page below.

For a saddle plate hanger in stainless steel we would recommend our 53/290SS for doors weighing up to 150kg and 53/301SS for doors weighing up to 270kg.
