Meet John Suddes, UK Customer Service Manager
Today we are shining the spotlight on John, our UK Customer Service Manager here at P C Henderson. John is a P C Henderson stalwart with over 20 years' experience at the company-starting as an admin assistant in 1999 and progressing through various admin and customer service roles until he took on the role of UK Customer Service Manager in 2022
John's role entails overseeing the day to day operation of the customer service department to ensure our customers receive the high level of service P C Henderson are renowned for. This includes managing the flow of customer emails, ensuring that customers receive a swift response, processing quotations and sales orders as well as answering phone calls. John is also responsible for liasing with various departments within the business including our Planning and Production team with daily operation meetings to help ensure customers have accurate information on lead times for their orders, as well as supporting our Sales & Commerical Director with KPI figures for the department and sales information prior to customer visits.
No two days are the same for John, as each day involves communicating with different customers and specifying various products for multiple projects. With vast range of products at P C Henderson, and a large network of distributors nationwide, the job role can be challenging, however, John and the rest of the customer service team have exceptional product knowledge to assist with specification or installation advice.
When asked what he enjoys most about his job role, John commented, "I enjoy the feedback we get from customers, whether negative or positive, as it tells me what we do well and how we can improve. I love to be busy, and this role certainly ticks that box."
Outside of work, John enjoys dining out, catching shows at the theatre, and making regular trips to London-one of his favourite places. A devoted Madonna fan, he's seen her live an impressive 13 times!
John's proudest accomplishments include completing the London Marathon just 15 months after taking up running, and ongoing privilege of raising his son and watching him grow. Through their joint love of running, they have been involved in several charity fundraisers over the years, raising funds for various worth while causes.
