Our Managing Director, Trevor Cossins, joined P C in May 2016 and has helped the business go from strength to strength ever since.

In his role, Trevor works closely with the senior management team to shape the long-term strategy of the business to ensure the company continues to grow in the right directon. In this role, he is responsible for a broad range of activites across the business, including overseeing the company's offices in china, Ireland and the Netherlands.

Trevor began his career as an Apprentice Engineer for a large multi-national laminate manufacturer, progressing through the ranks to become Site Manager. In 2002, he took the opportunity to become General Manager at JELD-WEN door factory in the Northwest of England an area he loved on the fringe of the Lake District. over the next 14 years, he gained extensive industry experience and successfully grew the business, winning numerous, long term lucrative contracts In 2016, Trevor took on the role of Managing Director at P C Henderson, returining to his native in the North east.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at P C Henderson, Trevor shared, "When I was first approached to take on the role of leading the team at P C Henderson, i had no hesitation. It was a great opportunity to join a long-standing company with an industry leading reputation in sliding and folding door hardware, and it was a return to my engineering roots. Our products are proudly manufactured in the highest of standards at our factory based in County Durham, and we have recently become members of Made in Britain to reinforce this quality and precision that our customers trust.

What i enjoy most is working alongside such hardworking dedicated team. The collaboration across each area of the business is what makes us who we are everyone is focused on improving the business day in day out. I'm extremely proud of what we continue to achieve together."

Recently, Trevor played a leading role in successful relocation of the business to a modern manufacturing facility to support the substantial growth the business has seen over the recent years. From identifying a fit-for-purpose premises to planning the building layout and overseeing the move of all machinery and staff, Trevor worked closely with the project team to ensure a seamless transition.

Outside of work, Trevor enjoys holidaying in his caravan which allows him to fulfil his passion for fell walking in the Lake District with his wife Julie and their Cockapoo Buddy. He also loves spending time with his fmaily and the recent addition of his first grandchild.
