Question:

Good afternoon
I have a door that has 3 springs either side.
The bottom retension bracket on one side has come off and I threw it away not knowing what it was until I went to open the door.
It screws to the bottom of the frame and the springs have a pag that locates in the bracket for tension.
Can't be sure of the date of manufacture, but the pre 1992 bracket don't look the same and the item was a chunky piece of galvanise metal.
Can you identify without a picture of the one side I still have?
Question by: Vaughan on 29 Aug 2025, 12:02

Answer:

Good morning,

We can no longer supply the spring brackets unfortunately. A local garage door specialist may be able to help with this.

Thanks,
P C Henderson
