Sliding Barn Door Hardware Rustic 100 sliding barn door hardware is ideal for barn conversions, period properties or simply for a unique feature in the home. Suitable for internal doors weighing up to 100kg, the system creates a traditional look for sliding wooden or metal doors with the exposed steel straps fastening down the front of the door.
Two Stunning Finishes
Rustic 100 is available in a matt black powder coat finish or stainless steel and is available in 2m or 3m lengths. Each sliding barn door kit comes complete with two oval flush pulls. A fittings kit can be purchased for when an extra door is required.
Optional Soft Close
Our Rustic sliding barn door kit is also now available with an included soft close or soft close and open – a great addition to get the most out of your Rustic system. Simply push the door, the soft close then catches it and gently moves it into the open and/or closed position – preventing slamming and bouncing. Our optional soft stop is extremely easy to install and can be installed with any finish of track due to its discreet design. Please note: For biparting door applications on a 3m track, dual soft close and open is not possible. Please see product datasheet for more information.
I’m trying to understand how the door sits over the open door space? How does it effectively close/block the open door space? Does it give as much privacy as a normal door would?

Good afternoon,We recommend a 40mm overlap pf the door and opening - this would allow the door to fully close over the opening. For more detail, please see step 1 of our fitting instructions. Thanks,P C Henderson

Can the tracks be shortened?
Question by: Dave on 7 Nov 2020, 00:00
Yes - the Rustic track can be cut down however you will need to be mindful of where you cut the track in relation to the pre drilled holes for the wall spacers. Also - if cutting the matt black version of this product the end of the track will need repainting. Many thanksP C Henderson Ltd

Could you confirm that if we have 2 opening doors on a 3m track, we can't have soft close and open kits fitted to both doors? The product datasheet doesn't seem to clarify this.
Question by: David Edmonds on 21 Feb 2021, 00:00
Good morning,For biparting doors on a 3m track, both soft close and soft open is not possible as there is not enough fixing points within the track. For this application, it is only possible to have soft close OR soft open on both doors. This is detailed on the second page of the product datasheet. Thanks,KateMarketing Executive

Do the sliding barn doors require them to be fitted to a stud? I noticed in the video it was drilled straight into the wall, no check for studs.
Question by: Saagar on 2 Mar 2021, 00:00
Good Morning, This depends on a number of variables - what type of surface you are fixing the system to and also the weight of your doors. We would always suggest fixing to the strongest part of the wall. Many thanks Stephanie Marketing Manager
