P C Henderson was proud to exhibit at leading international trade fair - BAU 2019- earlier this month where we showcased a wide selection of our sliding and folding door hardware systems as well as introducing three new products to the market. If you didn’t manage to make it to the event, here’s what you missed…

Crowd pleasers – products taking center stage

The event, which is held every two years, is the world’s leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems and attracts over 250,000 visitors from across the world. P C Henderson’s 72 square metre stand proved to be a huge hit with visitors from all continents. Particular interest was shown in our Securefold and Roomflex folding door hardware systems as well as our newly launched Shutter Slide and Pocket Door Pro systems. Our range of industrial sliding door hardware was also a crowd-pleaser due to its impressive range of weight capacities – going up to a huge 8000kg.

Andrew Royle, Sales and Marketing Director at P C Henderson commented, “We’re extremely pleased with the huge amount of interest we received over the course of the 6 day show. Our aim was to not only showcase the high quality, functionality and innovative aspects of our hardware but to also display the huge breadth we have to our range – providing opportunities for all applications. Our stand was able to display almost every functionality type – sliding, folding, multi-directional, bottom rolling and automated – which made for some extremely popular live demonstrations and product tours”.

Bigger and better than ever – record breaking figures

P C Henderson was amongst almost 2300 companies exhibiting at the event across a 200,000 square meter exhibition space at Messe Munchen in Munich. The event proved to be bigger and better than ever - achieving record breaking overseas visitor statistics - 85,000 compared to 80,500 in 2017 (out of a total of 250,000 visitors).

“With one of our key strategic objectives being growth in the EMEA region, we knew BAU was the perfect platform to showcase what P C Henderson has to offer. It was a great start to the year for us and we look forward to exhibiting again in 2021”, continued Andrew.
