Fourteen P C Henderson team members took part in the Durham Big Ride event at the weekend as part of a 10 year-long company tradition.

The event, which begins at County Hall in Durham, proved to be as popular as ever playing host to over 600 cyclists of all abilities. Hopes of a dry sunny September day were soon dashed as the team woke up to rain and misery but they took part with smiles on their faces and enjoyed the fun of cycling through the rain and puddles.

Starting at 9.30am the event is made up of a 10 mile and 25 mile route, where cyclists can choose which option to take a little way round the course. A few brave members of our finance and export team opted for the grueling 25 mile route with the remaining team members taking part in the shorter 10 mile route.

Overall a great day had by all, we look forward to taking part in next year’s event!
