P C Henderson Ltd is celebrating its 94th birthday on the 24th February 2015.

Established in 1921, P C Henderson has long been acknowledged as a world leader in the design and manufacture of sliding and folding gear systems for domestic, commercial and industrial application involving sliding doors. The priority the business places on investment in people, quality and innovation is what would make founder Percy Cecil Henderson proud of the company today.

The manufacturer still produces tried and tested industrial designs originating from the early days of the company  that have been developed to take advantage of new technologies and materials . Today, an experienced Research and Development team ensure that new and innovative products fulfill the needs and expectations of customers, something that has been key in the longevity of the business.

Youngest employee, Gemma Smith, Marketing Manager at P C Henderson had the honor of cutting the cake, she comments: ‘P C Henderson was already 63 years old when I was born, to work for a company with such a rich history is something I am proud of. The products and the team are testament and a credit to the company and its journey over the last 94 years.’

Managing Director, Duncan Moncrieff has managed the company for 6 years but has been employed in other roles within the company for 25 years. He comments ‘P C Henderson survives because it continues to re-invent itself and its products and listens to the voice of the customer.  ‘
