Meet Abbi, our Customer Services Advisor

Abbi Penn is a Customer Service Advisor here at P C Henderson and being a part of the company for 23 years, what Abbi doesn’t know about P C Henderson products, isn’t worth knowing!

Abbi joined P C Henderson as a Customer Service Advisor 23 years ago, working beforehand in her summer breaks from University before being offered a full time position after graduating.

Largely dealing with enquiries via the telephone and emails, Abbi provides advice, guidance and helps customers select the correct product for their projects. She also produces quotations using detailed architect’s drawings, project tenders, and sometimes even just the information she receives over the phone. Abbi is involved in pre-sales activities such as checking prices and stock availability, as well as after-sales care, offering technical advice and support to customers.

Offering a wide range of sliding and folding door solutions ensures that there are a variety of customer enquiries, and no two days are the same, which is what Abbi enjoys about her role:

“You get to speak to lot of different types of people, all with different requirements. As so much is done online, it is nice to actually speak to customers and help them with their project.”

With P C Henderson’s 103-year history, customers count on the company for its expertise and friendly team to offer their guidance on projects and specifications. Abbi comments:

"We have many customers who have dealt with us for many years, so it is nice to talk to people we have built rapport with over such long periods of time.”

Outside of work, Abbi enjoys going on days out with her young family, and takes pleasure in gardening, watching films and going to comedy gigs when she can.

In August 2022, Abbi took part in a charity skydive for a cause close to her heart, The Sick Children’s Trust, raising an incredible total of £800! Well Done Abbi!
