Introducing Soltaire Endfold and Soltaire Centrefold

P C Henderson is pleased to introduce two new products to our range of folding door hardware – Soltaire Centrefold and Soltaire Endfold. Available in a variety of kits, the new products cater for wooden and metal doors weighing up to a maximum of 45kg and 75kg.

The kits consist of our ultra-smooth Soltaire hangers combined with the robust, yet aesthetically pleasing, Securefold 50 folding hinges. Combined together they offer a commercial grade system which is ideally suited for partition doors in heavy use areas such as conference rooms, educational buildings, leisure buildings and offices.

Thanks to its kit pack presentation, the product is extremely easy to specify for a variety of folding door configurations. The product also offers increased levels of adjustment to the customer, due to the pivoting system being on the jamb rather than using standard hinges. Panels can fold to one or both sides of the opening with a maximum of eight panels folding one way.

Our flagship product, Securefold folding door hardware, has also received a great deal of positive feedback regarding its high quality design and reliability - creating a hybrid of these two products was a natural progression.

“By releasing the products in kit format, we are also offering a tried and tested products in a simple ‘off the shelf’ standardised format – streamlining the specification process for our customers. We recently introduced our existing Soltaire sliding product in a kit pack which has been very well received”.

Catering for internal applications, the newly developed kit packs come complete with pivots, hangers, flush bolts and guides. To add further flexibility, the track and channel are offered as required extras in a variety of lengths to reduce wastage. A bottom guide channel is recommended when three or more panels fold in a single direction to increase stability.
