As part of an ongoing commitment to continually invest into the research and development of our existing product range, we are pleased to announce the launch of the Soltaire Softclose system.

Designed for use with our popular and long standing Soltaire 120 system, the new soft close mechanism has been introduced to further enhance the operation of this premium product.

Suitable for wood and metal doors weighing up to 80kg, the soft close mechanism gently decelerates the door upon closing, gliding it into position for the final 90mm of travel. Unlike other soft close mechanisms, which traditionally lie underneath the track, the Soltaire Soft Close System is contained within the track itself; offering an extremely quiet, reliable and discreet activation of the mechanism.

The product is available in two options; a single damper kit and a double damper kit, with the latter allowing a soft close finish on both the opening and closing of the door.

A high quality damper is utilised in the mechanism which has been tested to BS EN 1527 standards, providing a maintenance free operation throughout its lifetime. The product also offers an added benefit of being extremely installer friendly, with no special tooling required.

Soltaire 120 is an extremely durable sliding door system for doors weighing up to 120kg. Designed for interior and exterior application, the system is made from 316 stainless steel, making it ideally suited for high usage applications or external applications which require a high level of corrosion resistance.
