P C Henderson Demonstrates Commitment to ISO9001 and ISO14001 Accreditation

P C Henderson has proven their ongoing dedication to quality and environmental management with ISO9001 and ISO14001 recertifications.

ISO9001 is an internationally recognised standard for quality management and emphasises effective processes, with well-trained staff, to deliver high quality products and/ or services each time.

Equally, ISO14001 is known globally as a standard for environmental management systems. It has a strong focus on the environment and recognises organisations that take practical measures to reduce their environmental footprint, and achieve their environmental goals.

Some of the processes and procedures P C Henderson has implemented include:

  • Conducting internal audits to monitor the effectiveness of our integrated process management system.
  • Having our machinery and equipment calibrated annually for maximum accuracy when manufacturing products.
  • Ensuring our Trustpilot score remains above 4.5.
  • An 8.9% of reduction in gas usage in 2023, in comparison with that of 2022.
  • Introducing new recycling facilities on-site, resulting in 100% of aluminium cans now being recycled.

These successes have helped to inform our Quality Management Objectives for 2024, including:

  • Enriching our quality data, which will allow us to measure our efforts more effectively.
  • Enhancing our telephone call process to reducing time waiting for a handler to answer a call.
  • Increasing our Trustpilot review score, through offering high quality products and excellent technical sales service.

Tom Allen, EHS Coordinator, comments, “I'm pleased that we have been re-certified for both our ISO9001 & ISO14001 which demonstrates our commitment to providing quality products whilst also doing our bit for the environment. Since starting with the business last April, I jumped in at the deep end regarding management systems as I had not had much involvement previously. I have been supported by Senior Management with resources when requested and implemented many new procedures. I look forward to continuously improving the management system and the business overall.”
