Hello,
Does the door need to be attached before the pocket is plasterboarded? Or can it be fitted once the wall is fully plastered?

Yes - the door would need to be installed before the pocket is plaster boarded as there is limited access to hang the door after plaster boarding.

Hi, I am looking to fit 2 x 21" (533mm) pocket doors. Can the PDK3 kits be cut down for these doors OK? The product spec states a maximum size, but not a minimum size. Thanks.

Hi is there a walk through video on how to install the dual soft close mechanism correctly?
I’ve ordered the pdk4 soft close and it’s not come with any stops and I can’t seem to activate the soft close mechanism?

Unfortunately, we do not have an installation video on this at the moment.

From the fitting instructions, is it the rubber stop you are missing?

With regards to the soft close, please ensure that the protruding edge of the activator is facing downwards when inserted into the track. Also, please ensure that the activator is located in the correct place (as shown on step 12 of our fitting instructions).

We have had the single pocket door fitted. However we are having carpet to lvt florring beneath it. We are unclear about what threshold type to have which would accommodate this. Could you please advise what threshold type we need wood or aluminium floor channel?

It is really down to personal preference. However, please ensure that there is an 8mm gap between the bottom of the door and the floor.

Hi,
We had your pocket doors fitted in 2018. For some reason they are now catching on the oak floor ab=nd we need to raise the hanging height. Please advise how best to do this without damaging the plastering or door surround.

Yes - the door height can be easily adjusted after installation. You will need to screw the lock nut until the door is at the required height and then tighten with a spanner.

Unfortunately, the soft close unit must be purchased with the pocket door kit. You will need to return your original kit and repurchase the soft close kit.
